Extended and Intensive Therapy

Traditionally, a therapy session takes place once a week for approximately 53-minutes.

An extended therapy session is increased by 15 to 30-minutes allowing

for more time in a standard therapeutic session to address your concerns.

Intensive therapy combines multiple weeks of therapy into one-day or multi-day sessions. Intensive therapy allows for an accelerated and concentrated therapeutic process.

Extended Therapy Sessions

Extended therapy sessions can offer you more time to address your therapeutic needs.

While there are benefits to the traditional therapeutic process, it is not uncommon

to start a topic in a weekly or biweekly session, only to have it

postponed for the next weeks therapy session.

Life happens. By the time the next therapy session comes around,

you may need support on another matter.

Extended therapy sessions can reduce the risk of having to place your

therapeutic topic on hold. Extended therapy sessions can offer you additional support

you if you are experiencing symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, or depression.

Individuals - $250.00 per session

Couples - $275.00 per session

How do I know if intensive therapy is right for me?

An intensive therapeutic format may be beneficial for you if:

  • You have a hectic schedule and unable to commit to weekly sessions.

  • You have previous experience in therapy.

  • You are looking for a break from the traditional process.

  • You have a specific problem, and you are seeking resolution quicker than what traditional therapy can offer.

  • You are experiencing a crisis in your relationship e.g., considering separation or divorce.

  • You are experiencing a major life disruption and are seeking support with quicker results.

  • You want support in navigating an upcoming major life event.

  • You are looking for a more cost-effective therapeutic experience.

  • You are looking to decrease the amount of time you are in therapy.

An intensive therapy format may not be a good fit for you if:

  • You or your partner are experiencing suicidal or homicidal thoughts, feelings, or emotions.

  • You or your partner has history of self-harm behavior.
